Jitender Sareen
Dr. Sareen is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Community Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba. He is the Director of Research and Anxiety Services in Department of Psychiatry. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed publications during the last five years with a focus on epidemiologic studies in anxiety disorders, and mental health service utilization. He has received awards for excellence in teaching, and research, and acquired grants to support his research from local and national agencies. Current areas of research include trauma, posttraumatic stress disorder, and Aboriginal suicide prevention. |
